Inspection of Common Circuits\n(a) Check battery and fusible link\n(b) Check related systems\nCheck how the HEAD FUSE is related to the system.\nIn system No. 1-1 (POWER SOURCE), you will find\na chart listing the relationship between the fuses and\ncomponents. Here we can see that the HEAD fuses are\nrelated only to their respective headlights.\n\n(c) Check the circuit from the battery to the HEAD FUSE.\n① In system No. 1-2 (POWER SOURCE), the power\ncircuits for all fuses are listed. The circuit between\nthe battery and HEAD fuse branches off with fuses\nHAZ-HORN 15A etc.\n② Turn on the HAZARD switch\n\nOkay .... No trouble in circuit up to HAZ-HORN\njunction.\nBad ...... Trouble lies between fusible link and J/B\nNo. 3.\n\n(d) Check the HEADLIGHT RELAY\n(Return to HEADLIGHT page)\n1 The circuit shows that the HEADLIGHT RELAY is\nin J/B No. 3.\n2 Installation of the relay can be found by referring\nto the RELAY LOCATIONS. The HEADLIGHT\nRELAY is located in J/B No. 3 in the engine compartment as shown.\n3 Check for power to the headlight relay coil.\n① Turn the headlight switch to HEAD.\n② Using a voltmeter, check for voltage as shown\nbelow.\n\nNegative (-) Probe .... Pin No. 2 of ⓑ .\nPositive (+) Probe .....
