CHECK VACUUM CIRCUIT CONTINUITY IN VSV BY\n      BLOWING AIR INTO PIPES\n\n      (a)   Connect the VSV terminals to the battery terminals\n            as illustrated.\n\n      (b)   Blow into pipe \"F\" and check that air comes out of\n            pipe \"E\".\n\n      (c)   Disconnect the battery.\n\n      (d)   Blow into pipe \"F\" and check that air comes out of\n            the filter \"G\".\n\n      If a problem is found, repair or replace the VSV.\n\n2.    CHECK FOR SHORT CIRCUIT\n\n      Using an ohmmeter, check that there is no continuity\n      between each terminal and the VSV body.\n\n      If there is continuity, replace the VSV.\n\n3.
