COMPRESS PISTON RETURN SPRINGS AND REMOVE SNAP RING\n\nPlace SST on the spring retainer and compress the springs with a shop press.\nRemove the snap ring with a screwdriver.\n\nSST 09350-20013 (09369-20040)\n\n10. REMOVE SPRING RETAINER AND EIGHTEEN SPRINGS\n\n11. ASSEMBLE FRONT CLUTCH ON OVERDRIVE CASE AND BLOW OUT PISTON\n\n(a) Slide the front clutch onto the overdrive case.\n\n(b) Apply compressed air to the overdrive case to remove the piston. (If the piston does not come out, use pliers to remove it.)\n\n(c) Remove the front clutch from the overdrive case.\n\n12. REMOVE O-RINGS FROM PISTON\n\nINSPECTION OF FRONT CLUTCH\n\n1. INSPECT FRONT CLUTCH PISTON\n\n(a) Check that check ball is free by shaking the piston.\n\n(b) Check that valve does not leak by applying low-pressure compressed
