INSTALL MAIN PIN BOOT\nUsing a 21-mm socket wrench, press in the boot.\n\n5. INSTALL DUST BOOT AND SLIDING BUSHING\n(a) Install the dust boot.\nNOTE: Be careful that the seal does not fold under.\n(b) Install the bushing into the boot facing the flange toward the inside.\n\nINSTALLATION OF CYLINDER\n(See page BR-14)\n\n1. INSTALL FOLLOWING PARTS:\n(a) Pad support plate\n(b) Pad guide plates\n(c) Anti-rattle springs\n(d) Brake pads\n(e) Anti-squeal shim\n\nSEE\nFRONT BRAKE\nREPLACEMENT OF BRAKE PADS\nBR-14\n\n2. INSTALL CYLINDER\n(a) Install the cylinder onto the main pin.\nNOTE: Make sure that the boot end is installed into the groove of the main pin.\n(b) Install the cylinder over the brake pads.\n\n3. INSTALL CYLINDER INSTALLATION BOLTS\nInstall the cylinder installation bolts, torque one bolt.\nTorque: 200 kg·cm (14 ft·lb, 20 N·m)\nNOTE: Insert the installation bolt into the cylinder carefully so as not to wedge the boot.\n\n4. CONNECT BRAKE LINE\n(a) Connect the brake hose to the cylinder.\nTorque: 235 kg·cm (17 ft·lb, 23 N·m)\n(b) Using SST, connect brake hose to the brake tube.\nSST 09751-36011\nTorque: 155 kg·cm (11 ft·lb, 15 N·m)\n\n5.
