CHECK FOR SHORT CIRCUIT\nUsing an ohmmeter, check that there is no continuity between the terminals and the VSV body.\nIf there is continuity, replace the VSV.\n\n3. CHECK FOR OPEN CIRCUIT\nUsing an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between the terminals.\nSpecified resistance: 38 — 44 Ω at 20°C (68°F)\nIf the resistance is not within specification, replace the VSV.\n\nINSPECTION OF EGR VALVE\n\n1. REMOVE EGR VALVE\nCheck the valve for sticking and heavy carbon deposits.\nIf a problem is found, replace it.\n\n2. INSTALL EGR VALVE WITH NEW GASKET\n\nINSPECTION OF WATER TEMP.
