CHECK HEAT INSULATOR FOR DAMAGE\n2. CHECK FOR ADEQUATE CLEARANCE BETWEEN CATALYTIC CONVERTER AND HEAT INSULATOR\n\nREPLACEMENT OF CATALYTIC CONVERTER\n\n1. REMOVE CONVERTER\n   (a) Jack up the vehicle.\n   (b) Check that the converter is cool.\n   (c) Remove the bolts at the front and rear of the converter.\n   (d) Remove the converter and gaskets.\n\n2.
