DISCONNECT FOLLOWING WIRES AND CABLES:\n(a) Ground strap from the cylinder head\n(b) Oxygen sensor wire\n(c) High-tension cord from the ignition coil\n(d) Distributor connector\n(e) Temp. switch wire (for A/T)\n(f) Solenoid resistor wire connector\n(g) Knock sensor wire connector\n\n7. DISCONNECT FOLLOWING HOSES:\n(a) Brake booster vacuum hose\n(b) Actuator vacuum hose\n(with cruise control system)\n(c) Fuel hose from the intake manifold\n(d) EGR valve vacuum hose\n\n8. DISCONNECT RADIATOR UPPER HOSE FROM THER-\nMOSTAT HOUSING\n\n9. DISCONNECT TWO HEATER HOSES\n\nREMOVAL OF CYLINDER HEAD\n\n1. REMOVE AIR INTAKE CONNECTOR\n(a) Disconnect the No. 1 air hose from the air intake con-\nnector.\n(b) Remove the two clamp bolts.\n(c) Loosen the throttle body hose clamp and remove the\nair intake connector and the connector pipe.\n\n2.
