REMOVE COMPRESSOR WITH BRACKET FROM CYLINDER BLOCK\n(a) Remove the drive belt.\n(b) Remove the compressor mounting bolts.\n(c) Lay the compressor with bracket to one side without disconnecting the hoses.\n\n17. REMOVE POWER STEERING PUMP FROM BRACKET\n(a) Remove the PS pump pulley with the drive belt.\n(b) Remove the three pressure and return line brackets.\n(c) Disconnect the pressure and return lines.\n(d) Remove the PS pump stay.\n(e) Remove the PS pump from bracket.\n\n18. REMOVE ENGINE MOUNTING BOLTS ON EACH SIDE OF ENGINE AND GROUND STRAP\n\n19. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER FROM INSIDE OF VEHICLE (M/T only)\n\n20. RAISE VEHICLE\nCAUTION: Be sure the vehicle is securely supported.\n\n21. DRAIN ENGINE OIL\n\n22. DISCONNECT EXHAUST PIPE FROM EXHAUST MANIFOLD\n\n23. REMOVE EXHAUST PIPE CLAMP FROM TRANSMISSION HOUSING\n\n24. REMOVE CLUTCH RELEASE CYLINDER (M/T only)\n\n25. REMOVE SPEEDOMETER CABLE\n\n26. DISCONNECT SHIFT LINKAGE FROM SHIFT LEVER (A/T only)\n\n27. DISCONNECT WIRE FROM BACK-UP LIGHT SWITCH (M/T only)\n\n28. REMOVE STIFFENER PLATE WITH GROUND STRAP\n\n29.
