REMOVE CLUTCH COVER AND DISC\n\n2. REMOVE FLYWHEEL OR DRIVE PLATE AND REAR END PLATE\n\n3. INSTALL ENGINE STAND FOR DISASSEMBLY\n\n4. REMOVE CYLINDER HEAD ASSEMBLY\n(a) Disconnect the No. 1 water by-pass hose from the water by-pass pipe.\n(b) Disconnect the PCV hose from the cylinder block.\n(c) Remove the timing belt. (See pages EM-11 to 13)\n(d) Remove the No. 2 timing belt cover.\n(e) Remove the air intake chamber stay.\n\n(f) Using SST, remove the cylinder head bolts.\nSST 09043-38100\n(g) Remove the cylinder head assembly.\n\n5. REMOVE OIL FILTER\nUsing SST, remove the oil filter.\nSST 09228-44010\n\n6. REMOVE OIL LEVEL GAUGE\n\n7. REMOVE ALTERNATOR\n\n8. REMOVE FUEL FILTER\n\n9. REMOVE FUEL HOSE SUPPORT\n\n10. REMOVE WATER BY-PASS PIPE\n(a) Remove the two bolts from the timing belt case.\n(b) Remove the three bolts from the cylinder block and remove the water by-pass pipe with gasket.\n\n11.
