IF TIMING BELT CASE IS INSTALLED ON CYLINDER BLOCK (Replacement of pump drive oil seal)\n(a) As shown in the figure, use a knife to cut off the oil seal lip.\n(b) Using a screwdriver, pry out the oil seal.\nNOTE: Be careful not to damage drive shaft. Tape the screwdriver tip.\n\n(c) Check the drive pump shaft where it contacts the oil lip surface for cracks or damage.\n(d) Apply MP grease to the oil seal.\n(e) Using SST, install the new oil seal.\nSST 09214-41010\n\n5. IF REAR OIL SEAL RETAINER IS INSTALLED ON CYLINDER BLOCK (Replacement of rear oil seal)\n(a) As shown in the figure, use a knife to cut off the oil seal lip.\n(b) Using a screwdriver, pry out the oil seal.\nNOTE: Be careful not to damage the crankshaft.
