If not, retighten the idler pulley set bolt.\n\n(h) Turn the crankshaft clockwise two times and set the No. 1 cylinder to TDC/compression.\nNOTE: Recheck the timing belt tension.\n(i) Recheck the camshaft timing pulley marks.\n\n8. CHECK MATCH HOLE OF CAMSHAFT\n(a) Clean the camshaft match holes with compressed air.\n\n(b) Align the match hole of the camshaft with that of the camshaft housing by turning the crankshaft pulley.\n(c) After alignment, make a note of the crankshaft pulley angle on the No. 1 timing belt cover.\nNOTE: Match hole check should be done separately for the IN and EX sides.\nIf the crankshaft pulley angle is within TDC ± 5°, it is correct.\nIf it exceeds TDC ± 5°, proceed to step 9.\n\n9.
