Separation of the engine oil level gauge, oil filler cap, PCV\nhose, etc. may cause the engine to run out of tune.\n\n2. Any distortion, looseness or cracks in the parts of the air\nintake system between the air flow meter and cylinder head\nwill allow air suction and cause bad engine tune.\n\nELECTRONIC CONTROL SYSTEM\n\n1. Before removing EFI wiring connectors, terminals, etc., first\ndisconnect power by either turning OFF the ignition switch\nor disconnecting the battery terminals.\n\n2. When installing a battery, be especially careful not to incorrectly connect the positive and negative cables.\n\n3. Do not permit parts to receive a severe impact during\nremoval or installation. Handle all EFI parts carefully and,\nin particular, the ECU.\n\n4. Do not be careless during troubleshooting as there are\nnumerous transistor circuits and even slight terminal contact can cause further troubles.\n\n5. Do not open the ECU cover.\n\n6. When inspecting during rainy weather, take care to prevent entry of water. Also, when washing the engine compartment, prevent water from getting on the EFI parts and\nwiring connectors.\n\n7. Parts should be replaced as an assembly.","image":"https://tsrm.sasquatchvc.com/images/mk2/FI/FI_005.png","url":"https://tsrm.sasquatchvc.com/mk2/tsrm/FI/5","prev":{"page":4,"url":"https://tsrm.sasquatchvc.com/mk2/tsrm/FI/4","api":"https://tsrm.sasquatchvc.com/api/pages/mk2/tsrm/FI/4"},"next":{"page":6,"url":"https://tsrm.sasquatchvc.com/mk2/tsrm/FI/6","api":"https://tsrm.sasquatchvc.com/api/pages/mk2/tsrm/FI/6"},"section_url":"https://tsrm.sasquatchvc.com/mk2/tsrm/FI","section_api_pages":["https://tsrm.sasquatchvc.com/api/pages/mk2/tsrm/FI/1","https://tsrm.sasquatchvc.com/api/pages/mk2/tsrm/FI/2","https://tsrm.sasquatchvc.com/api/pages/mk2/tsrm/FI/3","https://tsrm.sasquatchvc.com/api/pages/mk2/tsrm/FI/4","https://tsrm.sasquatchvc.com/api/pages/mk2/tsrm/FI/5","https://tsrm.sasquatchvc.com/api/pages/mk2/tsrm/FI/6","https://tsrm.sasquatchvc.com/api/pages/mk2/tsrm/FI/7","https://tsrm.sasquatchvc.com/api/pages/mk2/tsrm/FI/8","https://tsrm.sasquatchvc.com/api/pages/mk2/tsrm/FI/9","https://tsrm.sasquatchvc.com/api/pages/mk2/tsrm/FI/10","https://tsrm.sasquatchvc.com/api/pages/mk2/tsrm/FI/11","https://tsrm.sasquatchvc.com/api/pages/mk2/tsrm/FI/12","https://tsrm.sasquatchvc.com/api/pages/mk2/tsrm/FI/13","https://tsrm.sasquatchvc.com/api/pages/mk2/tsrm/FI/14","https://tsrm.sasquatchvc.com/api/pages/mk2/tsrm/FI/15","https://tsrm.sasquatchvc.com/api/pages/mk2/tsrm/FI/16","https://tsrm.sasquatchvc.com/api/pages/mk2/tsrm/FI/17","https://tsrm.sasquatchvc.com/api/pages/mk2/tsrm/FI/18","https://tsrm.sasquatchvc.com/api/pages/mk2/tsrm/FI/19","https://tsrm.sasquatchvc.com/api/pages/mk2/tsrm/FI/20","https://tsrm.sasquatchvc.com/api/pages/mk2/tsrm/FI/21","https://tsrm.sasquatchvc.com/api/pages/mk2/tsrm/FI/22","https://tsrm.sasquatchvc.com/api/pages/mk2/tsrm/FI/23","https://tsrm.sasquatchvc.com/api/pages/mk2/tsrm/FI/24","https://tsrm.sasquatchvc.com/api/pages/mk2/tsrm/FI/25","https://tsrm.sasquatchvc.com/api/pages/mk2/tsrm/FI/26","https://tsrm.sasquatchvc.com/api/pages/mk2/tsrm/FI/27","https://tsrm.sasquatchvc.com/api/pages/mk2/tsrm/FI/28","https://tsrm.sasquatchvc.com/api/pages/mk2/tsrm/FI/29","https://tsrm.sasquatchvc.com/api/pages/mk2/tsrm/FI/30","https://tsrm.sasquatchvc.com/api/pages/mk2/tsrm/FI/31","https://tsrm.sasquatchvc.com/api/pages/mk2/tsrm/FI/32","https://tsrm.sasquatchvc.com/api/pages/mk2/tsrm/FI/33","https://tsrm.sasquatchvc.com/api/pages/mk2/tsrm/FI/34","https://tsrm.sasquatchvc.com/api/pages/mk2/tsrm/FI/35","https://tsrm.sasquatchvc.com/api/pages/mk2/tsrm/FI/36","https://tsrm.sasquatchvc.com/api/pages/mk2/tsrm/FI/37","https://tsrm.sasquatchvc.com/api/pages/mk2/tsrm/FI/38","https://tsrm.sasquatchvc.com/api/pages/mk2/tsrm/FI/39","https://tsrm.sasquatchvc.com/api/pages/mk2/tsrm/FI/40","https://tsrm.sasquatchvc.com/api/pages/mk2/tsrm/FI/41","https://tsrm.sasquatchvc.com/api/pages/mk2/tsrm/FI/42","https://tsrm.sasquatchvc.com/api/pages/mk2/tsrm/FI/43","https://tsrm.sasquatchvc.com/api/pages/mk2/tsrm/FI/44","https://tsrm.sasquatchvc.com/api/pages/mk2/tsrm/FI/45","https://tsrm.sasquatchvc.com/api/pages/mk2/tsrm/FI/46","https://tsrm.sasquatchvc.com/api/pages/mk2/tsrm/FI/47","https://tsrm.sasquatchvc.com/api/pages/mk2/tsrm/FI/48","https://tsrm.sasquatchvc.com/api/pages/mk2/tsrm/FI/49","https://tsrm.sasquatchvc.com/api/pages/mk2/tsrm/FI/50","https://tsrm.sasquatchvc.com/api/pages/mk2/tsrm/FI/51","https://tsrm.sasquatchvc.com/api/pages/mk2/tsrm/FI/52","https://tsrm.sasquatchvc.com/api/pages/mk2/tsrm/FI/53","https://tsrm.sasquatchvc.com/api/pages/mk2/tsrm/FI/54","https://tsrm.sasquatchvc.com/api/pages/mk2/tsrm/FI/55","https://tsrm.sasquatchvc.com/api/pages/mk2/tsrm/FI/56","https://tsrm.sasquatchvc.com/api/pages/mk2/tsrm/FI/57","https://tsrm.sasquatchvc.com/api/pages/mk2/tsrm/FI/58","https://tsrm.sasquatchvc.com/api/pages/mk2/tsrm/FI/59","https://tsrm.sasquatchvc.com/api/pages/mk2/tsrm/FI/60","https://tsrm.sasquatchvc.com/api/pages/mk2/tsrm/FI/61","https://tsrm.sasquatchvc.com/api/pages/mk2/tsrm/FI/62","https://tsrm.sasquatchvc.com/api/pages/mk2/tsrm/FI/63","https://tsrm.sasquatchvc.com/api/pages/mk2/tsrm/FI/64","https://tsrm.sasquatchvc.com/api/pages/mk2/tsrm/FI/65","https://tsrm.sasquatchvc.com/api/pages/mk2/tsrm/FI/66","https://tsrm.sasquatchvc.com/api/pages/mk2/tsrm/FI/67","https://tsrm.sasquatchvc.com/api/pages/mk2/tsrm/FI/68","https://tsrm.sasquatchvc.com/api/pages/mk2/tsrm/FI/69","https://tsrm.sasquatchvc.com/api/pages/mk2/tsrm/FI/70","https://tsrm.sasquatchvc.com/api/pages/mk2/tsrm/FI/71","https://tsrm.sasquatchvc.com/api/pages/mk2/tsrm/FI/72","https://tsrm.sasquatchvc.com/api/pages/mk2/tsrm/FI/73","https://tsrm.sasquatchvc.com/api/pages/mk2/tsrm/FI/74","https://tsrm.sasquatchvc.com/api/pages/mk2/tsrm/FI/75","https://tsrm.sasquatchvc.com/api/pages/mk2/tsrm/FI/76","https://tsrm.sasquatchvc.com/api/pages/mk2/tsrm/FI/77","https://tsrm.sasquatchvc.com/api/pages/mk2/tsrm/FI/78","https://tsrm.sasquatchvc.com/api/pages/mk2/tsrm/FI/79","https://tsrm.sasquatchvc.com/api/pages/mk2/tsrm/FI/80"],"note":"OCR
