REMOVE AIR INTAKE CHAMBER\n(See steps 1 to 10 on pages FI-49 to 50)\n\n2. REMOVE DISTRIBUTOR\n\n3. REMOVE NO.1 FUEL PIPE\n\n4. DISCONNECT AND REMOVE WIRING HARNESS\n\n5. REMOVE DELIVERY PIPE WITH INJECTORS\n(a) Remove the four bolts, and then remove the delivery pipe with injectors.\nNOTE:\n• When removing the delivery pipe, be careful not to drop the injectors.\n• Do not remove the injector cover.\n(b) Remove the six insulators from the intake manifold.\n\nINSPECTION OF INJECTOR\n\n1. TEST INJECTION OF INJECTORS\nCAUTION: Keep clear of sparks during the test.\n(a) Connect the SST to the fuel filter outlet.\nSST 09268-41045\n(b) Connect the SST to the pressure regulator and the injector.\nSST 09268-41045\n\n(c) Hold the injector and hose with SST.\nSST 09842-30020\n(d) Put the injector into the graduated cylinder.\nNOTE: Install a suitable vinyl tube to the injector to prevent gasoline from splashing out.\n(e) Connect the ground cable to the battery.\n(f) Turn the ignition switch ON.\nNOTE: Do not start the engine.\n\n(g) Using a service wire, short both terminals of the fuel pump check connector.\nNOTE: The fuel pump will
