REMOVE AIR INTAKE CONNECTOR\n\n2. DRAIN COOLANT FROM THROTTLE BODY\n\n3. DISCONNECT FOLLOWING HOSES:\n(a) No. 1 and No. 2 water by-pass hoses\n(b) PCV hose from the throttle body\n(c) Label and disconnect emission control hoses\n\n4. DISCONNECT THROTTLE SENSOR CONNECTOR\n\n5. REMOVE THROTTLE BODY\nRemove the four bolts and remove the throttle body and\ngasket.\n\nINSPECTION OF THROTTLE BODY\n\n1. CLEAN THROTTLE BODY BEFORE INSPECTION\n(a) Wash and clean the cast parts with a soft brush in\ncarburetor cleaner.\n(b) Using compressed air, blow all passages and apertures\nin the throttle body.\nCAUTION: To prevent deterioration, do not clean the\nthrottle position sensor.\n\n2. CHECK THROTTLE VALVE\nCheck that there is no clearance between the throttle stop\nscrew and throttle lever when the throttle valve is fully\nclosed.\n\nThrottle Lever\nStop
