Warm up the engine.\n2. Connect SST to the engine service connector.\n   SST 09842-14010\n3. Connect the voltmeter to the SST.\n4. Warm up the Oxygen sensor with the engine at 2,500 rpm\n   for about 2 minutes.\n\nWarm up the Oxygen sensor with the engine at\n2,500 rpm for approx. 90 seconds.\n\nShort terminals T and E1 of the service connector.\nAnd maintain engine speed at 2,500 rpm.\n\nCheck the number of times the voltmeter needle fluctuates in 10 seconds.\n\nLess than 8 times\n\nWarm up the Oxygen sensor with the engine at\n2,500 rpm for approx. 90 seconds, and maintain\nengine at 2,500 rpm.\n\nCheck the number of times the voltmeter\nneedle fluctuates in 10 seconds.\n\n8 times or more\n\nLess than 8 times\n\nZero\n\nUnshort terminals T and E1 of the service connector.\nAnd maintain engine speed at 2,500 rpm.\n\nMeasure voltage between terminals VF and E1.\n\n0V\n\nMore than 0V\n\nRead and record diagnostic codes\n\nNormal code\nand code 21\n\nMalfunction code(s)\n(ex. code 21)\n\nRepair the relevant diagnostic code.\n\nReplace the ECU\n\nAfter replacing\nthe oxygen sensor\n\nNormal\n\n8
