REMOVE OUTPUT SHAFT REAR BEARING AND FIFTH GEAR\n(a) Using two screwdrivers and a hammer, tap out the snap ring.\n(b) Using SST, remove the rear bearing and 5th gear.\nSST 09312-20011\n\n14. REMOVE REVERSE GEAR\n(a) Using snap ring pliers, remove the snap ring.\n(b) Using SST, remove the reverse gear.\nSST 09950-20016\n\n15. REMOVE CENTER BEARING RETAINER\n(a) Using a torx socket wrench, unscrew the torx screw and remove the retainer.\n(b) Using snap ring pliers, remove the snap ring.\n\n16. REMOVE OUTPUT SHAFT AND COUNTER GEAR AS A UNIT FROM INTERMEDIATE PLATE\n(a) Remove the output shaft, input shaft and counter gear as a unit from the intermediate plate by pulling on the counter gear and tapping on the intermediate plate with a plastic hammer.\n(b) Remove the input shaft from output shaft.\n\n17.
