REMOVE DRIVE PINION FROM DIFFERENTIAL CARRIER\n\nINSPECTION AND REPLACEMENT OF DIFFERENTIAL\n\n1. REPLACE DRIVE PINION REAR BEARING\n(a) Using SST and a press, pull out the rear bearing from the drive pinion.\n\nSST 09950-00020\n\nNOTE: If the drive pinion or ring gear are damaged, replace them as a set.\n\n(b) Install the washer on the drive pinion with the chamfered end facing the pinion gear.\n\n(c) Using SST and a press, press the reused washer and rear bearing onto the drive pinion.\n\nSST 09506-30011\n\n2. REPLACE DRIVE PINION FRONT AND REAR BEARING OUTER RACE\n(a) Using a hammer and brass bar, drive out the outer race.\n\n(b) Using SST, drive in a new outer race.\n\nSST 09608-35014\n(09608-06020, 09608-06110, 09608-06120)\n\n3.
