REMOVE AXLE FLANGE NUT\n(a) Using a hammer and chisel, loosen the staked part of the nut.\n(b) Remove the nut and washer.\nNOTE: Be sure to remove the washer from the axle shaft. If not, the axle flange cannot be removed with SST in the next step.\nSST 09557-22022\n\n5. REMOVE AXLE FLANGE\nUsing SST, disconnect the axle flange and the washer.\nSST 09557-22022\nNOTE: Be careful not to lose the plate washer on the tip of the flange bearing side.\nHold\nSST\n\n6. REMOVE REAR AXLE SHAFT AND SPACER\nUsing SST, pull out the rear axle shaft with the oil seal and outer bearing.\nSST 09520-00031\nSST\n\n7. REMOVE INNER OIL SEAL AND BEARING\n(a) Using SST, pull out the inner oil seal from rear axle housing.\nSST 09308-00010\n(b) Remove the inner bearing.\nSST\n\n8.
