REMOVE OUTSIDE BEARING OUTER RACE\n   Using a brass bar, remove the axle shaft outer bearing race\n   from the axle housing.\n\n10. REMOVE OUTSIDE BEARING AND OIL SEAL\n    (a) Using a chisel, open a clearance between the hub and\n        bearing.\n    CAUTION: Be careful not to damage the bearing or\n    shaft.\n\n    (b) Using SST, remove the outer bearing from the rear\n        axle shaft.\n    SST 09950-00020 and 09950-00030\n    (c) Remove the oil seal from axle shaft.\n\nINSPECTION AND REPLACEMENT OF REAR\nAXLE SHAFT COMPONENTS\n\n1. INSPECT REAR AXLE SHAFT AND FLANGE FOR\n   WEAR, DAMAGE OR RUNOUT\n   Maximum flange runout: 0.1 mm (0.004 in.)\n   If the rear axle flange is damaged or worn, or if runout is\n   greater than maximum, replace the rear axle shaft.\n\n2.
