CHECK FLUID LEVEL IN RESERVOIR\nCheck the fluid level and add fluid if necessary.\nFluid: ATF DEXRON® or DEXRON® II\nNOTE: Check that the fluid level is within the HOT LEVEL of the dipstick. If the fluid is cold, check that it is within the COLD LEVEL of the dipstick.\n\n2. START ENGINE AND TURN STEERING WHEEL FROM LOCK TO LOCK THREE OR FOUR TIMES\nRun the engine at 1,000 rpm or less.\n\n3. CHECK THAT FLUID IN RESERVOIR IS NOT FOAMY OR CLOUDY AND DOES NOT RISE OVER MAXIMUM WHEN ENGINE IS STOPPED\nMeasure the fluid level with the engine running. Stop the engine and measure the fluid level.\nMaximum rise: 5 mm (0.20 in.)\nIf a problem is found, repeat steps 1 and 2. Repair the PS pump if the problem persists.\n\nCHECK OF AIR CONTROL VALVE\n\n1. START ENGINE AND RUN IT AT IDLE\n\n2. TURN STEERING WHEEL LEFT AND RIGHT\nCheck that the rpm does not decrease more than 50 rpm.\n\n3.
