CONNECT PRESSURE GAUGE\n(a) Using SST, remove the pressure line from the PS pump.\nSST 09631-22020\n(b) Connect the gauge side of the pressure gauge to the PS pump.\n(c) Connect the valve side of the pressure gauge to the pressure line.\n(d) Bleed the system. Start the engine and turn the wheel fully in both directions two or three times.\n(e) Check that the fluid level is correct.\n\n2. CHECK THAT FLUID TEMPERATURE IS AT LEAST 80°C (176°F)\n\n3. START ENGINE AND RUN IT AT IDLE\n\n4. CHECK FLUID PRESSURE READING WITH VALVE CLOSED\nClose the pressure gauge valve and observe the reading on the gauge.\nMinimum pressure: 65 kg/cm² (924 psi, 6,374 kPa)\nNOTE: Do not keep the valve closed for more than 10 seconds.\nIf pressure is low, repair or replace the PS pump.\n\n5. OPEN VALVE FULLY\n\n6. CHECK AND RECORD PRESSURE READING AT 1,000 RPM\n\n7.
