REMOVE CAM RING, ROTOR AND VANE PLATES\nCAUTION: Be careful not to scratch the cam ring, rotor or vane plates.\n\n8. REMOVE STRAIGHT PINS\n\n9. REMOVE ROTOR SHAFT\n(a) Clamp the front housing in a vise.\nCAUTION: Do not tighten the vise too tight.\n(b) Using a chisel and hammer, pry off the oil seal.\n(c) Using snap ring pliers, remove the snap ring.\n\n(d) Using a plastic hammer, lightly tap the rotor shaft out of the front housing.\n\n10. REMOVE REAR PLATE AND SPRING\nUsing a plastic hammer, tap the bottom end of the rear housing, and remove the rear plate and spring.\nCAUTION: Avoid gripping the rear plate with pliers as this could damage it.\n\n11. REMOVE PRESSURE PORT UNION\n\n12. REMOVE FLOW CONTROL VALVE AND SPRING\nCAUTION: Use care not to drop, scratch or nick this valve.\n\n13.
