INSPECTION CONTROL VALVE\n(a) Remove the control valve with pinion from the yoke housing.\n(b) If necessary, replace the control valve assembly.\n\n2. INSPECT STEERING RACK RUNOUT\nRunout: Limit 0.3 mm (0.012 in.)\n\nREPLACEMENT OF GEAR HOUSING\nIF NECESSARY, REPLACE FOLLOWING PARTS:\n\n1. OIL SEAL FOR RACK HOUSING\n(a) Remove the oil seal with a screwdriver.\n(b) Using SST, install the new oil seal.\nSST 09620-30010 (09631-00020)\nSST 09630-24013 (09631-24070)\n\n2. OIL SEAL FOR CYLINDER HOUSING\n(a) Using SST, drive out the oil seal.\n(b) Using SST and a hammer, install a new oil seal.\nSST 09620-30010 (09625-30010, 09631-00020)\n• Install the new oil seal.\n• Place the spacer on the oil seal.\n• Drive in the oil seal over the spacer until the round surface of SST is flush with housing surface.\n\n3.
