INSTALL GEAR HOUSING ASSEMBLY\nNOTE: Be careful not to damage the boots. Install four bolts and torque them.\nTorque: 770 kg-cm (56 ft-lb, 76 N-m)\n\n2. CONNECT RETURN AND PRESSURE LINE\n(a) Install the union seat.\n(b) Using SST, connect the pressure line and torque it.\nSST 09631-22020\nTorque: 390 kg-cm (28 ft-lb, 38 N-m)\n\n3. CONNECT TIE ROD ENDS\n(a) Install the tie rod end set nut and torque it.\nTorque: 600 kg-cm (43 ft-lb, 59 N-m)\n(b) Install the new cotter pin.\n\n4. INSTALL INTERMEDIATE SHAFT\n(a) Install the column side first.\n(b) Install the rack housing side.\n(c) Install the two bolts and torque them.\nTorque: 350 kg-cm (25 ft-lb, 34 N-m)\n\n5. FILL WITH POWER STEERING FLUID\n(See page SR-14)\n\n6. BLEED SYSTEM (See page SR-15)\n\n7. CHECK FOR FLUID LEAKS\n\n8.
