CONFIRM FUNCTIONING OF SST (See page AB-88)\nSST 09082-00700\n\n3. INSTALL SST\nCAUTION: Check that there is no looseness in the steering wheel and steering wheel pad.\n(a) Remove the No. 1 under cover.\n(b) Disconnect the airbag connector of the spiral cable.\n\n(c) Connect the SST connector to the airbag connector of the spiral cable.\nSST 09082-00700\n(d) Move the SST to at least 10 m (33 ft) from the front of the vehicle.\n(e) Close all the doors and windows of the vehicle.\nNOTICE: Take care not to damage the SST wire harness.\nConnect the SST red clip to the battery positive (+) terminal and the black clip to the battery negative (-) terminal.\n\n10 m (33 ft) or More\n\n4. DEPLOY AIRBAG\n(a) Confirm that no-one is inside the vehicle or within 10 m (33 ft) of the vehicle.\n(b) Press the SST activation switch and deploy the airbag.\nHINT: The airbag deploys simultaneously as the LED of the SST activation switch lights
