WHEN HANDLING REFRIGERANT (R-12), FOLLOWING PRECAUTIONS MUST BE OBSERVED:\n\n(a) Do not handle refrigerant in an enclosed area or near an open flame.\n\n(b) Always wear eye protection.\n\n(c) Be careful that liquid refrigerant does not get in your eyes or on your skin.\n\nIf liquid refrigerant gets in your eyes or on your skin;\n• Do not rub.\n• Wash the area with lots of cool water.\n• Apply clean petroleum jelly to the skin.\n• Go immediately to a physician or hospital for professional treatment.\n• Do not attempt to treat yourself.\n\n2.
