CHECK CONDENSER FINS FOR BLOCKAGE OR DAMAGE\nIf the fins are clogged, clean them with pressurized water.\nCAUTION: Be careful not to damage the fins.\n\n2. MAKE SURE THAT DRIVE BELT IS INSTALLED CORRECTLY\nAfter installing the drive belt, check that it fits properly in the ribbed grooves.\n\n3. CHECK DRIVE BELT TENSION\nUsing a belt tension gauge, check the drive belt tension.\nBelt tension gauge:\nNippondenso BTG-20(95506-00020) or\nBorroughs No.BT-33-73F\nDrive belt tension:\nNew belt 160 ± 20 lb\nUsed belt 105 ± 10 lb\nHINT:\n• \"New belt\" refers to a belt which has been used less than 5 minutes on a running engine.\n• \"Used belt\" refers to a belt which has been used on a running engine for 5 minutes or more.\n\n4. START ENGINE\n\n5. TURN ON A/C SWITCH\nCheck that the A/C operates at each position of the blower switch.\n\n6. CHECK MAGNETIC CLUTCH OPERATION\nIf magnetic clutch does not engage, check the A/C fuse.\n\n7. CHECK THAT IDLE INCREASES\nWhen the magnetic clutch engages, engine revolution should increase.\nStandard idle-up rpm:\n\n7M-GTE E/G    900 rpm    700 rpm    M/T (N range)    A/T (D range)\n7M-GE E/G     900 rpm    650 rpm\n\n8. CHECK CONDENSER FAN MOTOR ROTATES\n\n9. CHECK AMOUNT OF REFRIGERANT\nIf you can see bubbles in the sight glass, additional refrigerant is needed. (See page AC-21)\n\n10.
