REMOVE PISTON RETURN SPRING\n(a)  Place SST on the spring retainer, and compress the\nreturn spring with a shop press.\nSST 09350-30020 (09350-07040)\n(b)  Remove the snap ring with snap ring pliers.\n(c)  Remove the spring retainer.\n\n(d)  Remove the piston return spring.\n\n4.   REMOVE SECOND BRAKE PISTON\n(a)  Hold the second brake piston with hand, apply com-\npressed air to the second brake drum to remove the\nsecond brake piston.\n(b)  Remove the second brake piston.\n(c)  Remove the two O-rings from the piston.\n\nINSPECTION OF SECOND BRAKE\nINSPECT DISC, PLATE AND FLANGE\nCheck to see if the sliding surface of the disc, plate and\nflange are worn or burnt. If necessary, replace them.\nHINT:\n•  If the lining of the disc is peeling off or discolored, or\neven if parts of the printed numbers are defaced, replace\nall discs.\n•  Before assembling new discs, soak them in ATF for at\nleast two hours.\n\nASSEMBLY OF SECOND BRAKE\n1.   INSTALL SECOND BRAKE PISTON\n(a)  Coat new O-rings with ATF and install them on the\nsecond brake piston.\n(b)  Being careful not to damage the O-rings, press in the\nsecond brake piston into the second brake drum with\nboth
