INSPECT ONE-WAY CLUTCH\n\n(a) Insert SST into the inner race of the one-way clutch.\nSST 09350-30020 (09351-32010)\n\n(b) Insert SST so that it fits in the notch of the converter hub and outer race of the one way clutch.\nSST 09350-30020 (09351-32020)\n\n(c) With the torque converter standing on its side, the clutch locks when turned counterclockwise, and rotates freely and smoothly clockwise.\nIf necessary, clean the converter and retest the clutch.\nReplace the converter if the clutch still fails the test.\n\n2. MEASURE DRIVE PLATE RUNOUT AND INSPECT RING GEAR\n\nSet up a dial indicator and measure the drive plate runout.\nIf runout exceeds 0.20 mm (0.0079 in.) or if the ring gear is damaged, replace the drive plate. If installing a new drive plate, note the direction of splines and tighten the bolts.\nTorque: 750 kg·cm (54 ft·lb, 74 N·m)\n\n3. MEASURE TORQUE CONVERTER SLEEVE RUNOUT\n\n(a) Temporarily mount the torque converter to the drive plate. Set up a dial indicator.\nIf runout exceeds 0.30 mm (0.0118 in.), try to correct by reorienting the installation of the converter. If excessive runout cannot be corrected, replace the torque converter.\nHINT: Mark the position of the converter to ensure correct installation.\n\n(b) Remove the torque
