BAD SOUND QUALITY\n(a) Sound quality bad when radio played.\nPossible causes:\n• Multipath interference of excessive interception\n• FM distortion caused by tuner not synch with station\n• Defective antenna or antenna cable\n• Speaker improperly installed\n• Vibration sound from components near speaker\n• Defective speaker\n• Defective radio\n\nTEST 1\n\nIs sound quality bad in certain areas only? → Yes → FM multipath interference and excessively strong AM reception near broadcasting station which cannot be avoided in most cases.\n↓ No\n\nIs tuner dial properly synchronized? → Yes → Temporarily install another antenna. Okay? → Yes → Inspect antenna, cable and booster, and repair as necessary.\n↓ No                                                    ↓ No\nProperly synchronize.
