Cruise Control System\n\nVacuum Switch (7M-GTE only)\n\nINSPECTION OF SWITCH\nINSPECT SWITCH OPERATION\n(a) Check that there is no continuity between terminal and body with a vacuum of 170 ± 10 mmHg (6.69 ± 0.39 in.Hg, 22.7 ± 1.3 kPa) or above.\n(b) Check that there is continuity between terminal and body with no vacuum.\nIf operation is not as specified, replace the switch.\n\nVacuum Pump (7M-GTE only)\n\nINSPECTION OF PUMP\nINSPECT VACUUM PUMP OPERATION\n(a) Connect a vacuum gauge to the ACT side of the pump.\n(b) Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 1 and the negative (—) lead to terminal 2.\n(c) Check that there is the vacuum of 200 mmHg (7.87 in.Hg, 26.7 kPa) or above.\nIf operation is not as specified, replace the pump.\n\nSpeed Sensor\n\nINSPECTION OF SWITCH\nINSPECT SENSOR CONTINUITY\nCheck that there is continuity between A and B four times per each revolution of the shaft.\nIf continuity is not as specified, replace the
