MEASURE PAD LINING THICKNESS\nStandard thickness: 10.0 mm (0.394 in.)\nMinimum thickness: 1.0 mm (0.039 in.)\nReplace the pad if the thickness is less than the minimum\nor if it shows sing of uneven wear.\n\n2. MEASURE ROTOR DISC THICKNESS\nStandard thickness: 22.0 mm (0.866 in.)\nMinimum thickness: 21.0 mm (0.827 in.)\nIf the disc is scored or worn, or if thickness is less than\nminimum, repair or replace the disc.\n\n3. MEASURE ROTOR DISC RUNOUT\nHINT: Before measuring the runout, confirm that the front\nhub bearing play is within specification.\nMeasure the rotor disc runout at 10 mm (0.39 in.) from\nthe outer edge of the rotor disc.\nMaximum disc runout: 0.13 mm (0.0051 in.)\nIf the runout is greater than the maximum, inspect and ad-\njust it following the procedure below:\nThen replace the disc if necessary.\n(a) Remove the torque plate from the knuckle.\n(b) Remove the hub nuts of the temporarily installed disc\nand pull off the rotor disc.\n(c) Check that the hub axial play is within specification,\nand replace the bearing if not within specification.\n(See page FA-8)\n(d) Install the rotor disc and hub nuts on the axle hub\nshaft the rotor disc one fifth of a turn and measure the\nrunout.
