{"model":"mk3","model_name":"MK3 Supra","vehicle":"Toyota Supra A70 (1986.5–1992, 7M-GE / 7M-GTE)","document":"Repair Manual","section":"BR","section_name":"Brake System","page":57,"pages_in_section":72,"title":"Brake System","section_header":"Brake System — Anti-lock Brake System (A.B.S.)","ocr_text":"2\t\"ANTILOCK\" warning light does not come on for 3 seconds after ignition switch on.\n\nDisconnect connector from actuator, and\nground the terminal W of the wire harness side\nconnector.\n(Ignition switch on)\n\nDoes warning light come on?\n\nNO\tBulb burned out or open circuit in wire\n\tharness between warning light and\n\tactuator terminal W.\n\nYES\n\nDisconnect connectors from computer and\nactuator, and ground terminal W of computer\nwire harness side connector.\n(Ignition switch on)\n\nDoes warning light come on?\n\nNO\tOpen circuit in wire harness between\n\tcomputer terminal W and warning\n\tlight.\n\nYES\n\nWith ignition switch off, disconnect actuator\nconnector, and check continuity between\nterminal W and AST on actuator side.\n\nReverse tester leads and check again.\nIs there one way continuity between terminals?\n\nNO\tShort circuit in actuator inside diode.\n\nYES\tHINT: If the diode is short-circuited, a\n\tmalfunction at computer terminal W will\n\toccur.\n\tWhen inspecting the terminal, connect the\n\tW wire to connector and disconnect actuator\n\tconnector.
