CHECK THAT PEDAL HEIGHT IS CORRECT\nPedal height from asphalt sheet: 157 — 167 mm (6.18 — 6.57 in.)\n\n2. IF NECESSARY, ADJUST PEDAL HEIGHT\n(a) Loosen the lock nut and turn the adjusting bolt until the height is correct.\n(b) Tighten the lock nut.\n(c) After adjusting the pedal height, check the pedal freeplay.\n\n3. CHECK THAT PEDAL FREEPLAY IS CORRECT AS SPECIFIED\nPush in on the pedal until the beginning of clutch resistance is felt.\nPedal freeplay: 5 — 15 mm (0.20 — 0.59 in.)\nPush rod play at pedal: 1 — 5 mm (0.04 — 0.20 in.)\n\n4. IF NECESSARY, ADJUST PEDAL FREEPLAY\n(a) Loosen the lock nut and turn the push rod until the freeplay is correct.\n(b) Tighten the lock nut.\n(c) After adjusting the pedal freeplay, check the pedal height.\n\n5. CHECK PEDAL OPERATION\nWhile gently depressing the pedal, check that engagement and disengagement are smooth.\n\n6.
