INSPECT WATER PUMP BODY AND TIMING BELT CASE\nCheck the water pump body and timing belt case for cracks and damaged gasket surfaces.\nIf necessary, replace the water pump or timing belt case.\n\n2. INSPECT WATER PUMP BEARING\nTurn the pulley and check that the water pump bearing moves smoothly and quietly.\nIf necessary, replace the water pump.\n\n3. INSPECT FLUID COUPLING\nCheck that the fluid coupling is not damaged and that no silicon oil leaks.\nIf necessary, replace the fluid coupling.\n\nINSTALLATION OF WATER PUMP\n(See page CO-6)\n\n1. INSTALL WATER PUMP\nInstall the water pump on a new gasket with the eight bolts and two nuts.\nTorque:\n10 mm bolt\n90 kg·cm (78 in.·lb, 8.8 N·m)\n12 mm head bolt and nut\n195 kg·cm (14 ft·lb, 20 N·m)\n\n2. INSTALL PS AIR PIPE\n\n3. INSTALL WATER PUMP PULLEY, FLUID COUPLING AND ALTERNATOR DRIVE BELT\n(a) Install the water pump pulley and fluid coupling with the four nuts.\n(b) Place the fan belt on to each pulley.\n(c) Stretch the belt tight and tighten the four nuts.\n\n4. INSTALL A/C BELT\n\n5. ADJUST ALTERNATOR DRIVE BELT TENSION\n(See page MA-4)\n\n6. FILL WITH COOLANT\n\n7.
