REMOVE NO.1 FRONT CROSS MEMBER\n\n29. (M/T)\nREMOVE CLUTCH RELEASE CYLINDER\n\n30. PLACE JACK UNDER TRANSMISSION\nBe sure to put a wooden block between the jack and the\ntransmission oil pan to prevent damage.\n\n31. INSTALL A WOODEN BLOCK BETWEEN COWL PANEL\nAND CYLINDER HEAD REAR END TO PREVENT DAMAGE\nTO HEATER HOSE\n\n32. REMOVE ENGINE REAR SUPPORT MEMBER WITH\nGROUND STRAP FROM BODY\n\n33. REMOVE ENGINE WITH TRANSMISSION\n(a) Attach the engine hoist chain to the two engine\nhangers.\n(b) Remove the mounting nuts and washers.\n(c) Lift the engine with transmission out of the vehicle\nslowly and carefully.\nHINT: Make sure the engine is clear of all wiring and\nhoses.\n\n34. PLACE ENGINE ON TO ENGINE STAND\n\n35. (A/T)\nREMOVE A/T OIL COOLER PIPES\n\n36. REMOVE TRANSMISSION\n\n37.
