REPLACE CRANKSHAFT REAR OIL SEAL\nA. If the rear oil seal retainer is removed from the cylinder block:\n(a) Using a screwdriver and hammer, tap out the oil seal.\n\n(b) Using SST and a hammer, tap in a new oil seal.\nSST 09223-41020\n(c) Apply MP grease to the oil seal lip.\n\nB. If the rear oil seal retainer is installed to the cylinder block:\n(a) Using a knife, cut off the lip of the oil seal as shown.\n(b) Using a screwdriver, pry out the oil seal.\nNOTICE: Be careful not to damage the crankshaft. Tape the screwdriver tip.\n(c) Check the oil seal lip contact surface of the crankshaft for cracks or damage.\n\n(d) Apply MP grease to a new oil seal lip.\n(e) Using SST and a hammer, tap in the oil seal.\nSST
