CHECK INJECTOR OPERATION\nCheck the operating sound from each injector.\n(a) With the engine running or cranking, use a sound scope to check that there is normal operating noise in proportion to engine rpm.\n\n[DIAGRAM showing Sound Scope being used on engine]\n\n(b) If you have no sound scope, you can check the injector transmission operation with your finger.\n\nIf no sound or an unusual sound is heard, check the wiring connector, injector, resistor (7M-GTE) or injection signal from the ECU.\n\n[DIAGRAM showing hand checking injector]\n\n2. INSPECT RESISTANCE OF INJECTOR\n(a) Disconnect the injector connector.\n(b) Using an ohmmeter, check the resistance of both terminals.\n\nResistance:\n7M-GE    Approx. 13.8 Ω\n7M-GTE   2.0 ~ 3.8
