To\nprevent this, observe the following precautions and explain\nthem to your customer.\n\n1.    Use only unleaded gasoline.\n\n2.    Avoid prolonged idling.\n      Avoid running the engine at idle speed for more than 20\n      minutes.\n\n3.    Avoid spark jump test.\n      (a)  Spark jump test only when absolutely necessary. Per-\n           form this test as rapidly as possible.\n      (b)  While testing, never race the engine.\n\n4.    Avoid prolonged engine compression measurement.\n      Engine compression tests must be made as rapidly as\n      possible.\n\n5.    Do not run engine when fuel tank is nearly empty.\n      This may cause the engine to misfire and create an extra\n      load on the converter.\n\n6.    Avoid coasting with ignition turned off and prolonged\n      braking.\n\n7.
