REPLACE SPARK PLUGS\n(a) Disconnect the high-tension cords at the boot. Do not pull on the cords.\n(b) Using plug wrench (16 mm), remove the spark plugs.\n(c) Check the gap on the new plugs.\nCorrect electrode gap\n7M-GE 1.1 mm (0.043 in.)\n7M-GTE 0.8 mm (0.031 in.)\nRecommended spark plugs:\n7M-GE ND PG16R\nNGK BCPR5EP11\n7M-GTE ND PQ20R-P8\nNGK BCPR6EP-N8\nHINT: If adjusting the gap of a new plug, bend only the base of the ground electrode. Do not touch the tip. Never attempt to adjust the gap on a used plug.\n\n4. INSPECT AIR FILTER\n(a) Visually check that the air cleaner element is not excessively dirty, damaged or oily.\nIf necessary, replace the air cleaner element.\n(b) Clean the element with compressed air.\nFirst blow from the back side thoroughly, then blow off the front side of the element.\n\n5. REPLACE AIR FILTER\nReplace the air cleaner element with a new one.\n\n6. REPLACE ENGINE OIL AND OIL FILTER\n(See page LU-5)\nOil grade: API grade SG, multigrade, fuel-efficient and recommended viscosity oil.\nEngine oil capacity:\nDrain and refill\nw/o Oil filter change\n4.1 liters (4.3 US qts, 3.6 Imp. qts)\nw/ Oil filter change\n4.4 liters (4.7 US qts, 3.9 Imp. qts)\n\n7.
