INSTALL SPACER AND FIRST GEAR ASSEMBLY\n(a) Install the spacer on the output shaft.\n\n(b) Apply gear oil to the needle roller bearing.\n(c) Assemble the 1st gear, synchronizer ring and needle roller bearing.\n(d) Install the assembly on the output shaft with the synchronizer ring slots aligned with the shifting keys.\n\n8. INSTALL STRAIGHT PIN AND FIRST GEAR THRUST WASHER\nInstall the 1st gear thrust washer onto the output shaft with the straight pin aligned with the 1st gear thrust washer.\n\n9. INSTALL OUTPUT SHAFT CENTER BEARING\nInstall the center bearing with the outer race snap ring groove toward the rear.\nSST 09309-35010\n\n10. MEASURE FIRST GEAR THRUST CLEARANCE\nUsing a feeler gauge, measure the 1st gear thrust clearance.\nStandard clearance: 0.10 — 0.45 mm\n                    (0.0039 — 0.0177
