INSPECT STEERING LOCK OPERATION\nCheck that the steering lock mechanism operates properly.\n\n2. IF NECESSARY, REPLACE KEY CYLINDER\n(a) Place the ignition key at the ACC position.\n(b) Push down the stop key with a thin rod, and pull out the key cylinder.\n(c) Make sure that the ignition key is at the ACC position.\n(d) Install a new key cylinder.\n\n3. (w/ AT)\nIF NECESSARY, REPLACE KEY INTERLOCK SOLENOID\n(a) Remove the two screws and solenoid.\n(b) Install a new solenoid with the two screws.\n\nASSEMBLY OF STEERING COLUMN\n(See page SR-22)\n\n1. COAT ALL RABBING PARTS WITH MP GREASE\n\n2. INSTALL THRUST STOPPER\n(a) Install a new O-ring to the thrust stopper.\n(b) Install the thrust stopper.\n(c) Using snap ring pliers, install the snap ring.\n\n3. INSTALL STEERING SHAFT THRUST STOPPER\nInstall the steering shaft thrust stopper with three new
