AIR TIGHTNESS TEST\n[TEST 1]\n(a) Install SST to the unions of the cylinder housing.\nSST 09631-12070\n(b) Apply 400 mmHg (15.75 in.Hg, 53.3 kPa) of vacuum for about 30 seconds.\n(c) Check that there is no change in the vacuum.\nIf there is change in the vacuum, check the oil seals installation.\n\n[TEST 2]\n(a) Remove the L joint from SST.\nSST 09631-12070\n(b) Install L joint to the union of the control valve side.\n(c) Apply 400 mmHg (15.75 in.Hg, 53.3 kPa) of vacuum for about 30 seconds.\n(d) Check that there is no change in the vacuum.\nIf there is change in the vacuum, check the teflon ring and O-ring of the rack.\n\n6. INSTALL CONTROL VALVE\n(a) Coat the teflon rings with power steering fluid.\n(b) Push the control valve into the housing.\n\n7. INSTALL O-RING, SPRING AND CONTROL VALVE SPRING SEAT\n(a) Coat a new O-ring with power steering fluid, and install it to the rack housing.\n(b) Install the spring and spring seat as shown.\n\n8. INSTALL CONTROL VALVE HOUSING\n(a) Apply sealant to 2 or 3 threads of the bolt end.\nSealant: Part No.08833-00080, THREE BOND 1344, LOCTITE 242 or equivalent\n(b) Align the matchmarks on the valve housing and rack housing.\n(c) Install and torque the two bolts.\nTorque: 315 kg-cm (23 ft-lb, 31
