CLAMP GEAR HOUSING IN VISE\nUsing SST, secure the steering gear in a vise.\nSST 09612-00012\n\n2. REMOVE RIGHT AND LEFT TURN PRESSURE TUBES\n(a) Remove the two union bolts and four gaskets.\n(b) Using SST, remove the pressure tubes.\nSST 09633-00020\n\n3. REMOVE TIE ROD ENDS\n(a) Loosen the clamp lock nut and place matchmarks on the tie rod tube and rack end.\n(b) Remove tie rod ends.\n\n4. REMOVE RACK BOOTS, CLAMPS AND CLIPS\n\n5. REMOVE RACK ENDS AND CLAW WASHERS\n(a) Unstake the claw washers.\nNOTICE: Avoid any impact to the rack.\n\n(b) Using SST, remove the rack ends.\nSST 09612-24014 (09617-24011)\n09617-14010\n(c) Remove the claw
