Disconnect the connector\nAfter completely loosening the bolt, the two parts of the connector can be separated.\n\nNOTICE:\nDo not pull the wire harness when disconnecting the connector.\n\n2. Connect the connector\n\nNOTICE:\nBefore connecting the connector, always check that the terminals are not bent or damaged.\n\n(a) Match the guide section of the male connector correctly with the female connector, then press them together.\n\n(b) Tighten the bolt.\nMake sure the connectors are completely connected, by tightening the bolt until there is a clearance of less than 1 mm (0.04 in.) between the bottom of male connector and the end of female connector.\n\nABBREVIATIONS\n\nThe following abbreviations are used in this manual.\n\nABS = Anti-Lock Brake System\nA/C = Air Conditioning\nACIS = Acoustic Control Induction System\nA/T = Automatic Transmission\nCOMB. = Combination\nECU = Electronic Control Unit\nEFI = Electronic Fuel Injection\nEGR = Exhaust Gas Recirculation\nEVAP = Evaporative Emission\nISC = Idle Speed Control\nJ/B = Junction Block\nLH = Left-Hand\nM/T = Manual Transmission\n\nO/D = Overdrive\nPPS = Progressive Power Steering\nR/B = Relay Block\nRH = Right-Hand\nSFI = Sequential Multiport Fuel Injection\nSRS = Supplemental Restraint System\nSW = Switch\nTDCL = Total Diagnostic Communication Link\nTEMP. = Temperature\nTRAC = Traction Control System\nVSV = Vacuum Switching Valve\nw/ = With\nw/o = Without\n\n* The titles given inside the components are the names of the terminals (terminal codes) and are not treated as being abbreviations.\n\n15","image":"https://tsrm.sasquatchvc.com/images/mk4-ewd/TRBL/TRBL_007.png","url":"https://tsrm.sasquatchvc.com/mk4/ewd/TRBL/7","prev":{"page":6,"url":"https://tsrm.sasquatchvc.com/mk4/ewd/TRBL/6","api":"https://tsrm.sasquatchvc.com/api/pages/mk4/ewd/TRBL/6"},"next":null,"section_url":"https://tsrm.sasquatchvc.com/mk4/ewd/TRBL","section_api_pages":["https://tsrm.sasquatchvc.com/api/pages/mk4/ewd/TRBL/1","https://tsrm.sasquatchvc.com/api/pages/mk4/ewd/TRBL/2","https://tsrm.sasquatchvc.com/api/pages/mk4/ewd/TRBL/3","https://tsrm.sasquatchvc.com/api/pages/mk4/ewd/TRBL/4","https://tsrm.sasquatchvc.com/api/pages/mk4/ewd/TRBL/5","https://tsrm.sasquatchvc.com/api/pages/mk4/ewd/TRBL/6","https://tsrm.sasquatchvc.com/api/pages/mk4/ewd/TRBL/7"],"note":"OCR transcript of a scanned Toyota factory manual page; verify critical values (torque specs, part numbers) against the image."}
