CHECK QUANTITY OF GAS DURING REFRIGERATION CYCLE\n2.  INSTALL MANIFOLD GAUGE SET\n3.  RUN ENGINE\nRun the engine at 1,500 rpm for at least 5 minutes. Then check that the high pressure reading is 1.371.57 MPa (14–16 kgf/cm2, 199–228 psi).\n4.  CHECK EXPANSION VALVE\nIf the expansion valve is faulty, the low pressure reading will drop to 0 kPa (0 kgf/cm2, 0 psi).\nHINT: When the low pressure drops to 0 kPa (0 kgf/cm2, 0 psi), feel the receiver's IN and OUT sides for zero temperature difference.\n\nExpansion valve\n\nEXPANSION VALVE REMOVAL\n\n1.  REMOVE EVAPORATOR\n(See page AC–82)\n2.  REMOVE EXPANSION VALVE\nUsing a hexagon wrench, remove the 2 bolts and separate the evaporator and expansion valve.\nTorque: 5.4 N·m (55 kgf·cm, 48 in.·lbf)\nINSTALLATION HINT: Lubricate the new O–ring with compressor oil and install the tubes.\n\nEXPANSION VALVE INSTALLATION\n\nInstallation is in the reverse order of
