One technician should observe the\nconditions of wheels or wheel stoppers outside the vehicle while the other is doing the test.\n\nMEASURE STALL SPEED\n(a) Chock the 4 wheels.\n(b) Connect a tachometer to the engine.\n(c) Fully apply the parking brake.\n(d) Keep your left foot pressed firmly on the brake pedal.\n(e) Start the engine.\n(f) Shift into the D position. Fully depress the accelerator pedal with your right foot.
