Turn ignition siwtch ON.\n   2. Check \"MANU\" mode indicator light when pat-\n      tern select switch is pushed in to ON.\n\nOK  \"MANU\" mode indicator light comes on and stays\n    on.\n\nHint  If the A/T fluid temp. becomes too hot, the\n      \"MANU\" mode indicator light flashes for several\n      seconds and goes off.  The driving mode then\n      automatically changes from MANU mode to the\n      NORM mode.\n\nOK\n\nNG  Wait until the A/T fluid temp. is reduced.\n\n3  Check voltage between terminal M of ECM connector and body ground.\n\nON\n\nCheck Harness A\nECM\n\nM\nA  18\n\nSE6653\nAT8772\n\nP  1. Connect the Check Harness A to the ECM\n      (See page EG–404).\n   2. Turn igntion switcn ON.\n\nC  Measure voltage between the terminal M of ECM\n   connector and body ground when the pattern se-\n   lect switch is set to the MANU (MANUAL) position\n   and NORM (NORMAL) position.\n\nOK\nPattern select switch        Voltage\nMANU                         7.5 – 14 V\nNORM                         Below 1.5 V\n\nHint  The ECM uses the Normal pattern signal if the\n      Manual signal is not input.\n\nNG\n\nOK  Proceed to next circuit inspection shown on\n    matrix chart.
