One technician should observe the conditions of\nwheels or wheel stoppers outside the vehicle while the other is doing the test.\n\nMEASURE STALL SPEED\n(a) Chock the 4 wheels.\n(b) Fully apply the parking brake.\n(c) Connect a tachometer to the engine.\n(d) Start the engine and check idle.\n(e) Keep you foot pressed firmly on the brake pedal.\n(f) Shift into the D position. Fully depress the accelerator pedal.\nQuickly read the stall speed.\nStall speed:\n2,600±150 rpm\n(g) Do the same test in R position.\nQuickly read the stall speed.\nStall speed:\n2,600±150
