REMOVE MASTER CYLINDER BOOT\nUsing a screwdriver, remove the master cylinder boot.\nASSEMBLY NOTICE: Facing the UP mark on the master\ncylinder boot upwards, install the cylinder boot to the\nmaster cylinder.\n2. REMOVE RESERVOIR CAP AND STRAINER\n3. REMOVE RESERVOIR\nRemove the set screw and pull out the reservoir.\nTorque: 1.7 N·m (17.5 kgf·cm, 15.2 in.·lbf)\n4. REMOVE 2 GROMMETS\n5. PLACE CYLINDER IN VISE\n\nR07200\n\n6. w/ TRAC:\nREMOVE NO.1 PISTON STOPPER BOLT\nUsing a screwdriver, push the pistons in all the way and re-\nmove the No.1 piston stopper bolt and gasket.\nHINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.\nTorque: 10 N·m (100 kgf·cm, 7 ft·lbf)\n7. REMOVE NO.2 PISTON STOPPER BOLT\nUsing a screwdriver, push the pistons in all the way and re-\nmove the No.2 piston stopper bolt and gasket.\nTorque: 10 N·m (100 kgf·cm, 7 ft·lbf)\n\nR07120\n\n8. REMOVE 2 PISTONS\n(a) Push in the piston with a screwdriver and remove the snap\nring with snap ring pliers.\nHINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.\n(b) Remove the No.1 piston and spring by hand, pulling straight\nout, not at an angle.\nNOTICE: If pulled out and install at an angle, there is a\npossibility that the cylinder bore could be damaged.\nASSEMBLY NOTICE: Be careful not to damage the rub-\nber lips on the pistons.\n(c) Place a rag and 2 wooden blocks on the work table and lightly\ntap the cylinder flange against the block edges until the piston\ndrops out of the cylinder.\nDISASSEMBLY HINT: Make sure the distance (A) from the\nrag to the top of the blocks is at least 100 mm (3.94
